It’s Memorial Day and as happens throughout the military community, we pause to remember.
We pause to remember our friends, our buddies, those we never knew who are but pictures on a mantle and names on a wall.
As transgender persons have served throughout history, so have we lost our fellow Warriors on the battlefields.
Our brothers, sisters, all of them – we pause and remember. We raise a salute in our Hearts to those who fought for the freedoms for which we all fight; for the freedoms through which we all thrive.
Thank you for those who served and fought and never came home.
